Dancing With The Stars Girls
The Dancing with the Stars girls are a gorgeous bevy of beautiful women, all of whom, with the exception of one,
are excellent dancers too. The cast of Dancing with the Stars girls includes: one judge, one hostess and six
professional dancers who partner and coax the celebrity contestants taking part in the show. These celebrity babes
in their own right add style and glamour to the television series.
Dancing With The Stars Girls
The names of some of the Dancing with the Stars girls change from season to season as some move on, but the
Dancing with the Stars girls for 2012 are outlined below.
Carrie Ann Inaba: is the only female on the panel of three judges. She is also the only American, the
other two having been imported from Strictly Come Dancing. Carrie Ann Inaba is not a dancer by profession, she is a
singer and actress. Some people think that it is her role to be the nasty one on the panel.
Brooke Burke: is one of the two hosts of the programme. Brooke is actually a winner of a previous episode
of Dancing with the Stars and became the third female hostess when her predecessors had to drop out. Brooke is not
a professional dancer but rather a television personality.
Now we get onto the true Dancing with the Stars girls, the glamour girls, the ones with the talent that make
Dancing with the Stars really worth watching. These are the Dancing with the Stars girls from series 14 in 2012
that give the male celebrity contestants the courage to go on:
Anna Trebunskaya: is from Russia, and has been dancing since the age of six years old. Her parents owned
a dance studio. She participated in her first competition at the age of seven and won it. Anna emigrated to the
U.S. with her parents in 1998 when she was 17. Both her parents were professional ballroom dancers, and her mother
still makes her costumes today. She has won many British and American awards.
Chelsie Hightower: has been dancing from a young age but she has been an instructor in dance since she
was just 15. She has helped many people advance in a career of dance and she is still very young herself. Despite
that the awards she holds include: U.S. Representative to the Worlds - 2005; U.S National Standard Finalist - 2005;
International Latin Finalist - 2006; 10 Dance National Youth Champion - 2005
Cheryl Burke: started ballet lessons at the age of four and was soon performing in the Bay Area, where
she was born. By the age of 13, Cheryl was travelling and competing throughout the world. Some of her accolades
include being the 2005 Ohio Star Ball Rising Star Champion, 2005 San Francisco Open Latin Champion and 2005 World
Cup Professional Rising Star Latin Champion. She also won several UK Championship titles.
Karina Smirnoff: Karina was born in the Ukraine but went to the U.S.A. with her family at the age of 12.
She started ballet lessons when she was five. At the age of nine, Karina was introduced to ballroom dancing and
fell in love with it after a single performance. After high school, she graduated from Fordham University but went
to the UK to pursue her ballroom dancing career. Karina is five times U.S. national champion; World Trophy Champion
and Asian Open Champion.
Kym Johnson: Kym is Australian. In 1998, she came second in the Australian DanceSport Championships in
the Open Amateur Modern Ballroom feature; she was a finalist in the U.K. Ballroom Championships in Blackpool; she
was on the fantastically popular 'Burn the Floor' world tour and she did Dancing with the Stars Australia in
seasons one, two and three.
Peta Murgatroyd: was born in Auckland, New Zealand but moved to Australia when she was just 18 months
old, so it is only normal that she considers herself an Aussie more than a Kiwi. She was brought up in Perth,
Western Australia and started studying classical ballet as a dancer at the age of four. She trained for 12 years
under the former principal dancer of the Kirov Ballet, Madame Lubov Nikonorenko and has won many awards.
These are the Dancing with the Stars girls for the 14th series of the game show which started in March 2012,
let's hope they appear on the next show too!
